Gift Of Ambulance Van (P.A.) DUNEDIN. February 18 In December last Mr and Mrs J. Sutherland Ross, of Dunedin, made an offer through the Mayor to the Government of an ambulance van for use with the Forces in the Middle East. This generous offer was accepted by the Prime Minister on behalf of the Government, which will facilitate delivery to Army Headquarters of the Middle East Forces. The ambulance van will cost at least £5OO. and the only stipulation made covering the gift is that it shall be built in Dunedin. Arrangements are now in hand to this end.
