ATLANTIC CROSSING
Liberator Creates Record LONDON, December 7. A new record for the Atlantic crossing has been established by an American pilot. Captain Cramer who, flying a Consolidated Liberator, made the we«t to east journey in 8 hours 20 minutes, thus beating the record of 8 hours 23 minutes set up earlier this week by Captain O. P. Jones, the forpier Imperial Airways pilot.
