SOLDIER HONOURED Residents of Pleasant Valley, Tc Moana. and Four Peaks gathered in the Pleasant Valley Hall on Saturday evening to honour Gunner H. Walker The chairman, Mr C. W. Lynn, spoke on behalf of the residents and wished the guest good luqk. He then called on Mr R. Neutze who i paid a tribute to Gunner Walker’s popularity in the district On behalf of the Returned Services Association, Mr J. Crotty extended best wishes. Mr Lynn then presented the guest with a Rolls razor.
