SYDNEY STOCK EXCHANGE (Rec. 9.55 p.m.) SYDNEY, Sept. 9. To-day’s share market was quite as active and buoyant as yesterday’s with a wide range of industrial and mining shares gaining further ground. The approach of the Budget appears to have had no serious effect on the market while company profits and dividends, in spite of the impact bf rising costs and stock difficulties, have shown little if any falling off. Investors evidently consider that the increase in public spending power will continue to offset these factors. Sales—Comercial Banking of Sydney £lB/16/0, Bums Philp 52/3, Tooths 55/-, Woolworths 18/-, Kandos 33/6, Cash Orders 17/-, Wilcox Mofflin 9/11, Amalgamated Wireless (cont.) 51/-.
