“Victories” Fail To Arouse

(Rec. 7.50 pm.) LONDON, Sept. 7. A German controlled Brussels newspaper publishes a dispatch commenting on the depression of the German people: “Reports of successes fail to arouse satisfaction* The people grumble at the protrac .of the war and food inconveniences. They feel certain that people are profiteering from the war. It is clear that life in Germany to-day amply justifies such feelings.”
