(Rec. 6.30 pm.) MONTREAL. Sept. 8. Mr Mackenzie King returned to Canada aboard a Liberator bomber. Mr Mackenzie King expressed increased opposition to the idea of an Empire War Cabinet, and said his opinion agreed with the majority of British officials. A hint that new war moves may follow with surprising rapidity was given by Mr Mackenzie King upon his return. He revealed that Mr Churchill had said lie was anxious that col.munication be maintained between Vichy and the British Empire. This could be done through the Vichy Mii.ister at Ottawa and a Canadian rep: -- sentative at Vichy.
