PERSONAL Mrs H. Bray is spending a holiday in Christchurch. Mrs Meager, Orepuki, has been spending a few days with Mr and Mrs G. Blissett. EUCHRE PARTY At the fortnightly euchre party held in the Library, the prizes were won as follows: Women, Mrs South 1, Mrs Washington 2, Miss Roberts (consolation). Men, Mr D. Alexander 1, Mr J. Cripps 2, Mr C. Bishop (consolation). SOLDIERS’ PARCEL FUND The Hall Committee has given £4/15/4 towards the soldiers’ parcel fund organised by the Winchester Social Commiteee. RIFLE CLUB At the weekly shoot of Winchester Men's Rifle Club the scores were as follows: C. Gould 79, W. Priddle 79, D. Louden. 78, Jas. Cripps 78, T. Bills 78, J. Connolly 78, W. Pearce 77, R. Priddle 77, K. Pearce 76. A. Cripps 76, D. Deßenzy 76, Jno. Cripps 76, J. Horan 74; D. Funnell 74, J. Boston 71, C. Louden-70, W. Jackson 70, J. Donnithome 68. Jas Cripps was the winner of Mr N. Priddle’s trophy. W. Priddle won .the. weekly button. At the weekly shoot of the Ladies’ Rifle Club the scores were as follows: Miss L. Priddle 80 Mrs C. Gould 76. Miss R. Wilks 75, Mrs W. Priddle 75. Miss A. Cullen 74, Mrs R. Armstrong 72. Mrs J. Connolly 68. Miss L. Priddle won the weekly button.
