RAIDS ON MALTA

Casualties Not Known (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) RUGBY, May 8. Since September Malta has been raided 82 times. This was disclosed in a reply to a question in the House of Commons, when it was also stated that particulars of civilian casualties caused in these raids were not available in Britain. Amongst well-known buildings damaged in recent raids on Plymouth were the Guildhall, the .’ theneiun, the Plymouth library and the Sailors’ Rest.
