NO HEARING FOR QUISLINGS
Turmoil in Norwegian Schools By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, December 17. The Stockholm correspondent of the “Times” says that the Quisling Party is having a difficult time throughout Norway, being unable to gain a hearing at meetings. The schools are centres of turmoil. Scholars dressed in Quisling uniforms are unable to go long without torn uniforms and bruised bodies. Loyal scholars kidnap the Quislinglte schoolboys and duck them in unsavoury places. The Helsinki correspondent of the “Daily Telegraph” states that as punishment for the recent anti-Nazl demonstration, the entire population of Alesund, Norway, has been placed under house arrest for four days. The Stockholm correspondent of the “Daily Express” says that a riot followed German troops firing on an Alesund crowd assembled outside the baracks to demonstrate against Quisling. Two civilians were killed. French Students Arrested The Paris radio stated that 50 students who were recently arrested for antl-German demonstrations, will be tried by a German military tribunal.
