“UTTER RUBBISH”

Criticism Of Ministerial Statement By Telegraph—Press Association AUCKLAND, December 19. “It is utter rubbish, unworthy of any man who holds such a position,” said the Leader of the Opposition, Mr S. G. Holland, when referring to a statement made this week by the Minister of Health, the Hon. H. T. Armstrong. The Minister claimed that a recent statement of Mr Holland's concerning the socialisation of the medical profession could be interpreted as an appeal to lawlessness. “We should not let any unit in a great system of private enterprise be tackled without rallying to is defence,” Mr Holland said. He repeated his former statement that those who believed in private enterprise should not stand idly by while one cog after another in the machine was broken.
