DEATH OF PROMINENT AUSTRALIANS

Publisher And Former Premier By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright (Received November 24, 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, November 24. The death occurred yesterday in Melbourne of Sir Hugh Denison, aged 75, chairman of Associated Newspapers Limited, publishers of the Sydney “Sun” and other publications. He was a notable figure in the business life of Sydney. The death is also announced at Melbourne to-day of Sir Stanley Argyle, a former Premier of Victoria, aged 73. He hau been Leader of the Opposition in the Victorian Assembly since 1935.
