EARLY KILLING OF LAMBS
Farmers Suffer A Loss By Telegraph—Press Association MASTERTON, November 23. Farmers who were called upon by the Government and Meat Proa’—•‘■-s’ Bn—- ’ -' •’’» commencement of the season to kill lambs as early as possible find that, on account of doing so, they have been penalised by getting 3d per lb less for sbne wool than if the lambs had been killed at a later date. They are protesting to the Government through the Meat Board.
