NAZISM CONDEMNED
Contrary To Christian Ideals United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 20, 6.30 p.m.) VATICAN CITY, November 19. The Vatican radio, refuting Spanish newspapers’ assertion that Nazism is net contradictory to Christian ideals, declared that the Germans were attempting to substitute Nazi theories for Catholicism, the whole Catholic educational organisation was systematically destroyed, monasteries closed, and priests deported. The State did not recognise canonical marriage. Four hundred priests had been brought into Germany lately from Poland.
