Two men were incinerated when a ’plane carrying an instructor and a pupil failed to come out of a spin, crashed and burst into flames at Campbellfield, 15 miles from Melbourne to-day. Hake was being given instruction in aerobatics. At 250 feet the spin began and there was insufficient height for correction before the crash. Motorists who rushed to the scene were driven back by the intense heat. Three,cars were involved in the crash. One car, with eight occupants, struck a second car a glancing blow and then overturned. It careered some 200 yards when it struck and crushed a third car.
Three of the injured are in a critical condition. Six members of one family are among the injured.
