GERALDINE MISUSE OF DOMAIN
OVAL USED FOR CAR TRACK Further damage has been created in the Geraldine domain by the driver of a car using the domain oval for a racing track. In the early hours of Friday morning a car was heard racing around the oval and cricketers were dismayed with the havoc done to the wicket. Fortunately no match was played at Geraldine on Saturday or the club would have been faced with a lot of hard work to get the pitch in order. This is not the first time that such has happened in the Domain. On several occasions in the past the rose gardens have been damaged by a similar occurrence. PERSONAL The xtev. Father M. J. Fogarty. Messrs J. Kelliher, J. Gregan. Mesdames Gregan, B. Kennedy, and Misses B. Markham and C. Ryan will leave to-day to attend the Eucharistic Congress at Wellington. Mr and Mrs W. Auckland, are the guests of Mr and Mrs J. Tiplady. Pleasant Valley. Mrs Johnston. Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs S. M. Patrick, Talbot Street. Miss Molly McNamara left on Friday for Eltham.
