AWARD TO STUDENT
MACMILLAN BROWN PRIZE By Telegraph—Press Association DUNEDIN, January 20. For the sixth iccasion in succession, the Macmillan Brown Prize, competed for by students of the University of New Zealand, has been won by an Otago student. The winner this year is Miss Catherine Passmore. The prize, valued at £25, is awarded to encourage literary work. Miss Passmore’s entry, under the pen-nme “Tempm,’’ was a poem entitled “Flight of Time.”
