Traffic To Germany Suspended United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, January 17 The Paris radio announced that German-Rumanian railway traffic* via Poland has been suspended. King Carol’s conception of Rumania's defensive line has been completed. It involves ditches and canals extending for hundreds of miles from the northwest frontier to Bukowina, thence via the Dniester to the Black Sea. Ditches 40 feet wide link up with the water courses and can be flooded in the event of aggression. Pillboxes, where the hills intercept the dykes, protect thi* huge tank trap. May Affect Allies A decree creating a petroleum commission to control foreign companies may adversely affect British and French interests.
