Air Force Machine Crashes United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received December 18, 7.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, December 18. Five men were killed instantly when an Australian Air Force Avro Anson ’plane crashed on the Richmond Golf Course to-day, two minutes after it had taken off on a cross-country flight to Point Cook, Victoria. The machine was completely wrecked. The dead are: Flight-Lieutenants Arthur Watkins and Hugh Horner, both of Sydney, Flying-Officers Henry Fitzgerald and Malcolm Mclnnes. both of Melbourne, and Aircraftsman Leonard King, of Brisbane.
