Found Guilty Of Murder United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, December 14. For the first time since the I.R.A. began its outrages, terrorists were sentenced to death. Peter Barnes, 32, and James Richards, 29. were sentenced to death for murder as a result of the Coventry explosion in October. Joseph Hewitt, his wife and mother-in-law were found not guilty, but face other indictments. For the prosecution, counsel declared to the Paymaster that this case might not be Dublin, but might be further afield.
