REPORTED SALE OF YOURS TRULY CUP WINNER FOR AUSTRALIA? United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, November 21 It is reported here that the New Zealand horse Yours Truly been purchased by a patron of E. Dalton’s stable, for shipment by the first available boat. Yours Truly, a four-year-old horse by Siegfried from My Own, won the New Zealand Cup this month. He was bred by his owner, Mr J. S. McLeod, of Hawke’s Bay, the president of the New Zealand Racing Conference. My Own, the dam of Yours Truly, is by Lord Quex from Tressida, an Austra-lian-bred mare by Tressady. Runnymede, one of the early foals of Tressida, won the New Zealand Derby and then was sold for Australia, where he was a disappointment. Simba, another of the progeny of Tressida, was also sold to Australia, where he achieved much notoriety as he was believed to be the central figure in a ringing in case. Yours Truly is a sound stayer and he may enhance his reputation in important races over a distance in Australia.
