BOWLING STEANS CUP
CANTERBURY TEAM The annual match for the Steans Cup, between South Canterbury and Canterbury, will be played at Timaru on Saturday, December 2. The following players have been selected to represent Canterbury:—C. Madsen, A. Archer, R. B. Adcock (Opawa), J. Morrison (Beckenham), W. Edwards (Spreydon), W. H. Almond (St. Albans), D. H. Joseph (Barrington), C. Spearman (Sydenham), A. R. Thompson, Dr. J. D. Marks (Christchurch), J. E. Gagliardi (Edgeware), A. Taylor, A. B. Young (Returned Soldiers), R. Bond, J. Hadley (Papanui), P. Delargey, FCooke, W. H. Raphael, R. Haworth (Canterbury), c. Mulholland, J. Allen, H. Williams, T. F. Chambers (Sumner), T. Harrall, S. J. Snedden, H. Wilson (Linwood), N. Laver (Cashmere), H. B. Oakey, A. J. Bryant, W. R. Featherston (Elmwood), E. A. Cockroft (Ashburton), L. Soanes (Belfast). Mr A. B. Young, president of the centre, has been appointed manager, and Mr p. Delargey, sole selector, will travel with the team.
