HIGH PRICE FOR PIG What is believed to be a record price for a pig was realised at an auction sale in Hastings last week, when £54 1/6 was paid for a champion sow and litter of seven. Last year the sow was exhibited at the Royal Show at Hamilton and secured the championship. At the Hawke’s Bay Show last week she secured the first ..wards and the championship.
