RHINE AGAIN IN FLOOD

German Patrols More Numerous Artillery Active British Official Wireless (Received November 20, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY. November 19. The French official evening communique states, “A quiet day of local artillery action.” German troops are much more active on the Western Front and patrols are more numerous. French machineguns dispersed them east of the Moselle, also near Blies, inflicting casualties. Artillery fire was renewed south of Saarbrucken. The Rhine is again flooded, necessitating further German precautions. German fighting aeroplanes patrolled the front lines between the Vosges and Rhine. An official communique issued this morning by the French General Headquarters, states that there was nothing of importance to report during the night.
