American Vessels May Be Purchased United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received November 16, 10.30 p.m.) NEW YORK, November 16. The Ottawa correspondent of the United Press of America says it is reliably stated that American ships rendered idle by the neutrality restrictions will be purchased by British interests. It is also understood that British orders for freighters will be placed in Canadian shipyards in the near future.
