CZECH CROPS SEIZED
Transfer To Germany PRAGUE. July 6. Continual streams of covered and guarded German army lorries, which are passing through Prague all day and all night, are said by the Czechs to contain the first of their crops, which arc being forwarded to Germany. The obvious widespread transfer of supplies is reflected in great increases in food prices, the price of meat and eggs having almost doubled, compared with the price of those articles last Simultaneously, alarm has been caused by the increase of the German forces in Prague. It is believed that this foreshadows the imminent opening of the frontiers, and a declaration that the German protectorate is no longer existent, but that the country is now part of the Reich.
