New Stories for Deanna Durbin
The film future of Deanna Durbin has been carefully charted for months to come.
On completion of her current production, “Three Smart Girls Grow Up,” the 16-year-old singing star will be launched in “First Love,” with Charles Boyer. “After Schooldays” will follow, with “It’s a Date” scheduled next.
As in the past, Miss Durbin’s future vehicles will be based on original stories fashioned to fit the young star’s talents.
One of the most phenomenal personalities the movies have produced, Miss Durbin has scored direct hits in every film in which she has appeared.
