SELECTION APPROVED
Australian Rugby Team For England United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright SYDNEY, June 20. V. Wilson will be captain and G. Gibbons vice-captain of the Australian Rugby football team to tour Englaad. There Is general approval by commentators of the selectors’ work, especially the policy of favouring young players. Carrick was a schoolboy
player last year. The only surprises were the omission of W. Ceruttj, D. Cowper and W. R. Kelly, and the inclusion of W. McLean, the Queensland forward. McLean’s lather and brother both represented Australia at Rugby Union. Although no official designaton has been given the team, it is taken for granted that it will be called the "Wallabies.”
