The King and Queen motored from Windsor this morning to the border camp, where they inspected the latest type of barrack block, which is nearing completion. Later the King and Queen watched the troops carrying out defence exercises, and in the afternoon they were present for the firing on the local ranges by machine-gunners and infantry anti-tank shooting and antiaircraft practice.
