United Press Association —By Electric Telegraph—Copyright BUDAPEST, March 28 The Slovak-Hungarian negotiations have been suspended and the Slovaks have returned to Bratislava declaring that they are unable to accept the Hungarian proposals without consultation. It is understood that the atmosphere is not promising. Slovakian artillery, which had bombarded Bunkos, destroying two houses and killing a Hungarian soldier, was silenced by a Hungarian battery yesterday. The Slovaks bombarded Kiskclon killing one soldier and seriously wounding another.
The Hungarian Press, nevertheless, is pleading for reconcialiation with Slovakia.
A loan of £6,000,000 has been floated for army equipment.
Nine spies, including a German, have been sentenced to periods of imprisonment varying from three to 12 years.
