BOXING CONTEST WELL PRODUCED
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright (Received February 24, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON, February 24. A televised programme Was seen for the first time on a large cinema screen, when a Marble Arch theatre audience viewed the Boon-Danahar fight for the lightweight championship of • Britain, held at Harringay, ten miles distant. The picture compared favourably with newsreels of the fight. The referee stopped the fight in Boon’s favour, in the fourteenth round.
