The newspaper “Express”, the mouthpiece of the Czech National League, states that the German tests of the forfeited Czech fortifications, proved that the Maginot line is the most impregnable in the history of warfare. Military experts staged a full dress attack, with heavy artillery. Fifty heavy bombers failed to break the line. An average of fifty bombs was required to smash one dugout. Then only the roof was demolished.
