EGYPT’S DEFENCE
PLANS TO BUILD FLEET United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received October 26, 11.40 p.m.) CAIRO, October 26. The Egyptian Cabinet has decided to build the nucleus of an Egyptian fleet of 36 units for coastal defence, mostly light cruisers, minelayers, minesweepers and submarines, costing £3,500,000, spread over two years.
