A physician has said that death was due to heart failure, and shock, not to haemophilia. The Count of Covadonga was the eldest son of the former King Alphonso of Spain. Renouncing his royal rank in 1933, he married Senorita SamfredoOcejo, a Cuban. King Alphonso's children are all stated to be victims of haemophilia.
