FATAL CAR CRASH
FORMER SPANISH PRINCE DIES IN HOSPITAL United Press Association—By Elertru Telegraph —Copyright MIAMI, September 6, The Count of Covadonga died in hospital six hours after a car driven by a companion, Mildred Gaydon, aged 25. crashed into a telephone pole on their way home at dawn from a casino. A physician has said that death was due to heart failure, and shock, not to haemophilia. The Count of Covadonga was the eldest son of the former King Alphonso of Spain. Renouncing his royal rank in 1933, he married Senorita SamfredoOcejo, a Cuban. King Alphonso's children are all stated to be victims of haemophilia.
