With the arrangements for her wedding on July 16 with Mr Nicholas virtually completed, Miss Hephzibah Menuhin, is preparing to greet the final contingent of guests arriving in Oakland, California this morning, aboard the Overland limited, including the groom's parents Mr and Mrs George Nicholas, the London surgeon, Dr Edmond Alcock, and wife Betty, who is Mrs Nola Menuhin’s older sister and Mr Hylton Nicholas, aged 13. Several close friends will bring the guest list to about 24. The couple applied for a license at San Jose on July 12, which has been obtained for July 15. Mr Nicholas arrived at Oakland on July 12 and embraced Yehudi, Nola and Hephzibah, after which the quartet motored to Los Gatos and they shunned the interviewers before the ceremony. The couple will spend their honeymoon 011 the Menuhin estate at Alma, five miles from here, where a large guest house has already been prepared. The bride's father says: “We have had enough music for years and wj are dispensing with it for the wedding.
