MOTORISTS FINED Henry Barrett, of Waipopo was fined £2 and costs for operating a vehicle with a defective footbrake by Mr H. Morgan S.M., in the Temuka Court yesterday. Jesse Freddy was fined 5/- and costs for failing to carry a warrant of fitness. Similarly charged, Alex C. Symington of Geraldine was fined 10/- and czsts. George Macmillan of Matamata, who rode a motor cycle without a warrant of fitness was fined 25/- and costs. William James Rule was convicted and ordered to pay costs for failing to carry a warrant of fitness on a car. For driving without a licence George Triggs, a traveller, of Timaru, was fined £1 and costs.
