OTIPUA
TENNIS WIND-UP A very pleasant evening was spent by all who attended the wind-up euchre and dance organised by the Pareora West Tennis Club. The first part of the evening was spent in playing euchre, the winners being Mrs Richards, Mrs W. Hoare, Mrs J. Stowell, Mr J. Brosnan and Mr A. Elder. The music for the dance that followed was supplied by Miss E. Arden and Messrs G. and F. Hoare. Opportunity was taken to make a presentation to two members, Mr and Mrs Stowell who have left the district. Mr E. Hampton spoke of the help the club had had from the guests at club functions for several years and wished them future happiness. Mr Stowell replied suitably.
