TEA PARTY

An enjoyable tea party was held at Ye Goode Intent rooms on Thursday afternoon when members of the Plunket Society entertained Nurse Barnett, who is leaving to-day to take up a post-graduate course at Wellington. Those present included, the president. Mrs L. M. Inglis, Mrs Walter Raymond. Mrs C. Hall, Mrs W. H. Hall, Mrs F. F. A. Ulrich. Mrs R. T. Turnbull. Mrs V. C. Meehan, Mrs W. Sowerby, Mrs G. R. Lee, Mrs C. S. Marshall. Mrs P. Vesty, Mrs F. G. M. Raymond. Mrs C. H. S. Johnstone. Mrs Vincent, Mrs Fowler (St. Andrews), Mrs Guthrie (Pareora). Nurses Barnett and Twentyman. Nurse Barnett was presented with a pair of silk stockings by members of the Timaru branch and a leather shopping bag from the mothers of the Pareora and St. Andrews districts.
