In the Sheffield Shield match against Queensland South Australia in the first innings made 398 (Bradman 107, Williams 75 not out, Badcock 37, Robinson 43, Grimmett 46). Cook took four wickets for 62. C. Chrisp three for 99, Dr n two for 85. Queensland in the first innings made 192 (Tallon 48, Baker 70 not out). Brown, was was injured,, did not bat. Cotton took four wickets for 38 runs, Grimmett three for 42. South Australia in the second ’nnings lost one wicket for 37 runs (Badcock 1, Bradman 20 not out).
