WINCHESTER

PERSONAL Rev. G. P. Hunt and Mrs Hunt, Tauranga, are the guests of Mrs C. R. Barnett, Winchester. Mr and Mrs Jenkins, Christchurch, are spending a holiday with Mrs J. Philp. Mr and Mrs A. Stewart, Brighton, are spending a holiday with their daughter, Mrs A. E. Rissmann.

Mrs A. Rankin, who has been the guest of Mrs W. J. Moore for the holidays, has returned to North Taieri. Mr and Mrs J. Philp have returned from a holday spent on the West Coast and in Christchurch. SOCIAL EVENING There was a good attendance at a dance arranged by the committee of the Women’s Institute. Extras were played by Miss Myra Harrison. Miss Collins and partner won the Monte Carlo. Messrs W. J. Jackson, W. Waple and John Cripps were masters of ceremonies.
