GOOD WILL TELEGRAMS EXCHANGED PRIME MINISTER’S NOTE TO TURKEY United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright (Received January 3, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, January 2. The Rome correspondent of “The Times” says: M. Goga, the new Prime Minister of Rumania, emphasised the pro-Italian inclination of the new Government in a telegram to Signor Mussolini. He begs Signor Mussolini to accept his assurance of a constant desire to achieve frank and cordial Italo-Rumanian relationship. Signor Mussolini replied reciprocating the friendship and expressing hope for fruitful collaboration. M. Goga also cabled the Turkish Prime Minister (Bey Jelal Bayer) reaffirming Rumania’s sympathy and allegiance to the Balkan Pact. Soviet’s Reaction The Soviet Minister has notified the new Government of the intention to denounce the Non-Aggression Pact with Rumania. Rumanian arms contract with France and Czechoslovakia have been suspended.
