CRICKET CLUB Playing at Albury last Saturday in a friendly match Cave defeated the home side by 35 runs. Albury, batting first, made 65 runs, the top scorers being A. Cox 15, A. Simpson 12 and S. Benson 12. Cave replied with 100, those heading the batting list being S. Argus 27. L. Campbell 26, I. Calder 10 and J. Calder 20.
HALL SOCIETY At the annual meeting of the Cave Library Hall Society, the following committee was elected: —Chairman, Mr W. A. Little; secretary and treasurer, Mr M. E. Eagle; committee, Messrs B. H. Howell, J. Guerin, A. Young, A. E. Kerr, and K. Wilson. The matter of debt extinction was held over for consideration at a later date. DRAMA CLUB At the annual meeting of the Cave Drama Club held last week the committee elected was: Mr B. H. Howell (president); Mesdames W. A. Little, G. G. Rich, C. Jones, M. E. Eagle, Miss M. Scott and Messrs M. E. Eagle and D. Cameron. An endeavour Is being made to obtain and A.C.E. tutor for next year.
