ATTACKS ON MR JUSTICE BLACK United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph— Codvi tgh t (Received November 23, 6.30 p.m.) WASHINGTON, November 22. Judge Levitt has sent a letter to the Senate Judlcirry Committee requesting the introduction of a Bill directing the Attorney-General to bring legal proceedings against Mr Justice Black and also give the Supreme Court exclusive jurisdiction to try the case. The Supreme Court rejected another petition to-day asking for a full investigation into its decision on Mr Justice Black’- right to sit, brought by other parties. Or. October 1.1 the Supreme Court denied the petition by Judge Levitt seeking to depose Mr Justice Black from the Supreme Court Bench on a technicality, and also the motion by the Boston attorney Mr Patrick Kelly asking for the appointment of a commission to Investigate the legality of the appointment because of Mr Black’s earlier association with the Ku Klux Klan.
