BETTER DEMAND IN LONDON United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 22. At the wool sales 8,731 bales were offered, including 3,124 New Zealand and 6,433 bales were sold. There was a good selection and a better general demand for merinos and crossbreds. New Zealand greasy crossbred “D.C." in Square, 12d (top), 12d average. Bradford Market The Bradford tops market is quiet. Merinos and fine crossbreds are weak. 64’s are quoted at 29d and are obtainable at a shade less. Fine crossbreds 56’s are quoted at 22d. Lower sorts are steady. IMPROVED DEMAND IN SYDNEY CONTINENT AND YORKSHIRE IN THE MARKET

At the wool sales, 10,756 bales were offered and 8470 were sold as well as 650 privately. There was an improved demand to-day from the Continent and Yorkshire. Prices were firm at yesterday’s rates. Greasy merino realised to 26Sd per lb.
