STATE HOUSES
SCHEME FOR TEMUKA (From Our Parliamentary Reporter) WELLINGTON, November 19. Details of the Government’s proposals for a housing scheme in Temuka have been received by Mr T. D. Burnett, MP, for the district from Mr J. A. Lee, Parliamentary Under-Sec-retary in Charge of Housing. Mr Burnett has been informed that tenders are being called for the erection of ten single house units and one two-house unit at Hamilton Street. Denmark and Ormsby Streets, Studholme Street and Wilkins Street, in three different contracts, tenders to close on December 14.
