VICTORIOUS IN ENGLISH COMPETITION United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright LONDON. October 2. At Domington Park, where hundreds of German officers were interned in wartime. German motorists for the first time of their competing in Britain, triumphed in the International Grand Prix of 250 miles. Five out of the seven racing cars that Herr Hitler ordered to go a.l out to win were the only ones to finish. The British and Italians i.ere flagged out, as they did not complete the distance within the time limit. Rosemeyer, driving an Auto-Union, won, his time being three hours, one minute. Several bookmakers absconded, so that Germans backing their countrymen were defrauded. They lost £5O.
