SPRINGBOKS IN AUSTRALIA COMMENT ON NEW ZEALAND FOOTBALL h ho press Association- By . •i. Telegraph Convrlch* (Received October 4, 8.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, October 4. The Springboks arrived by the Awatea. They looked fit and well after their New Zealand tour. Mr P. A. Nel (captain of the team) said he felt that the tour had been beneficial both to the South Africans and New Zealand ers. Mr Nel said that his men were looking forward to tl proposed visit of the New Zealanders t: South Africa in about four years. Mr Nel added that the play of the New Zealand backs at present was at a low ebb. and that the New Zealand tackling was sometimes poor.
