NATIONAL COUNCIL OF WOMEN

The monthly meeting of the South Canterbury Branch of the National Council of Women of New Zealand was held on Friday, at the Y.W.C.A. hostel. Mrs D. S. Kemshed presided over a council of 14 members. Correspondence was read from Dr Sinclair of Dunedin, in answer to a letter from Miss Stubbs asking information on various health questions. The conference remits were carefully considered one by one. Mrs Kemshed and Mrs Holdgate were appoirtf J delegates to the Auckland conference.
