PORT OF TIMARU
LATEST ADVICES The Storm loaded yesterday for Wellington and Wanganui, and departed last evening for Lyttelton. She was the only vessel to work at the port yesterday. At dawn this morning the Blue Star vessel Trojan Star is due from Risden (Tasmania) direct in ballast to commence loading for Home. Waipiata, Lyttelton Sept. 27 NOTES The Port Whangarei is expected to arrive from Dunedin this morning to lift Tauranga, Auckland and Whangarei shipments. She should sail this evening for Lyttelton. The Gale is scheduled to load for Wellington and Wanganui at Timaru to-day. She is due from Dunedin and will proceed via Lyttelton. The Waikouaiti is now expected to reach Timaru from Dunedin tomorrow to discharge coal and transhipment cargo from Australia. After loading for , Sydney she will sail on Monday for Lyttelton. Port Dunedin at Suva From London, the Port Line motor ship Port Dunedin reached Suva at 11 a.m, last Saturday. She was to leave there again on Wednesday for Wellington,, Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru to complete discharge, and is due at Wellington next Monday. Middlesex Clears Curacao The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that the Middlesex, en route from London to Auckland, Wellington and Bluff, cleared Curacao last Thursday. She is due at Auckland on September 27. Kent Clears Montevideo The Federal Company has received cabled advice that the Kent cleared Montevideo last Thursday. She left Auckland on August 11 for Southampton, London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow, via Cape Horn and Montevideo. Navigation Warning The Director-General of the Post and Telegraph Department has received the following navigation warning, broadcast from Thursday Island: Z Reef beacon reported down.
