COMPLAINT BY PRESIDENT

TIME OF COURT WASTED By Telegraph—Press Association CHRISTCHURCH, July 21. Complaining that too much of the Arbitration Court’s time was taken up with the hearing of applications to join parties to awards, Mr Justice O’Regan suggested to-day that a separate tribunal should be created to hear such cases. "Our most important work is the making of awards, and awards are being held up while we listen to arguments such as these,” said Mr Justice O’Regan. "There should be a separate tribunal to hear these individual cases, and decide whether this man or the other should or should not be a party to an existing award."
