At the Rosehill races to-day, the Chief Ruler filly Bronze Tulip finished second in the Maiden Welter Handicap, which was won Impressively by Forward, who thus opened his racing account. Tam o’ Shanter was unplaced in this event. The Vellmond colt Silmond was unplaced in the Nursery Handicap. Bobby won the Rosehill Handicap from Grand Warbler and Oro.
